Kauai - A Love Letter from Hanalei Beach

Dear diary,

So, I am here in Kauai over vacation, and today its only the second day, and I am so over with the troubles and strifes of the rest of the world that I thought I would tell you. I really don't want to see again the world that we have made, when, right here in Hanalei, we have heaven.

It happened yesterday. I was in Hanalei, a surf town on the north shore of Kauai, and I was just chilling on the beach. I was lying on my back watching the sky, clouds, and waves, and suddenly it hit me. I just wanted to stay in Hanalei and surf. That's all I wanted to do in my life at that moment. So I told myself. This is crazy, for sure.

Like I told you, I am in Hanalei, and loving every moment of it. Hanalei is so cool. I think I will come back to mainland someday, may be, just for a visit. But I am coming back to live here, definitely.

So much for today. For now I am enjoying myself in Hanalei. I think I will hike down the Kalalau trail for a few days. Heard that it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hike this trail along the Napali coast. I believe that life is a sum total of our experiences. So I guess I need to experience Kalalau. Don't know if it will change my life like Hanalei has, but it may.

Will write again after I am back from Kalalau. But, for now, I am in love with Hanalei.
